Engineering Capabilities
Built for engineers who read drawings carefully.
Tengye is a vertically integrated magnet manufacturer combining design review, materials expertise, precision tooling, and in-house QC—so the part you receive matches the spec you sent, on the timeline we promised.
From prototype quantities of 10 pieces to full production runs, we treat every custom magnet order with the same engineering seriousness. We know most R&D projects stay small—a few pieces, once or twice a year—and we're glad to handle them anyway.

§ 01 · Magnetic Design
Design review & FEA simulation.
Send us drawings, 3D files, or a back-of-envelope sketch. Our engineers verify your magnetic targets, run 2D/3D FEA simulation where it matters, and flag risks before tooling is cut.
We've reviewed assemblies for medical diagnostics, consumer electronics, BLDC rotors, sensor modules, and Halbach arrays—we know what to look for.

§ 02 · Materials
Twenty materials. One supplier.
Rare-earth, ferrite, soft magnetics, and the metals and plastics that surround them. We don't just source magnets—we know how each material behaves in production, plating, bonding, and the field.
For export-sensitive customers, we recommend HREE-free grades (N48H, N52H) that reduce dual-use license friction while meeting demanding thermal specs.

§ 03 · Machining & Tooling
Precision geometry—on the first part.
Diamond wire saw, surface grinding, CNC profiling, and EDM for the tight features that conventional machining can't reach. Tolerances tightened to ±0.02 mm when the application demands it.
In-house tooling design means custom rotor jigs, magnetization fixtures, and bonding nests are ours to iterate—no waiting on a third-party toolmaker.
- Standard tolerance
- ±0.05 mm dimensional · ±0.02 mm on critical featuresISO 2768-fH for general; tighter on request

§ 04 · Magnetization
Where most suppliers guess—we measure.
Radial, multipole, axial, Halbach—each magnetization pattern needs its own coil. Our magnetization shop designs and builds custom coils in-house, then validates every pulse against the target field map.
For high-pole-count rotors and Halbach assemblies, we offer pre-magnetized component magnetization (segment-by-segment) or post-assembly magnetization through purpose-built fixtures.

§ 05 · Assembly & Insert Molding
Magnet to module—delivered integrated.
Combining permanent magnets with metals, plastics, and adhesives is where most magnet projects fail. Brittle ring magnets crack during injection molding. Stainless sleeves shift dynamic balance. Adhesives outgas at temperature.
We've solved these. Our assembly cell handles insert molding, structural bonding, press-fit sleeving, and dynamic balancing—and our engineers know which method belongs on which part.

§ 06 · Flux Scanning & QC
Every batch mapped. Every report traceable.
We run SENIS 3D teslameter probes on motion-controlled scanning systems for full surface field maps, plus KANETEC TM-901 handhelds for spot checks. Every sample is numbered; every report ties back to its physical part.
Scan reports include the metrics engineers actually use: average peak Br, pole pitch (theoretical / measured / min / max), pole arc, FWHM, integrated flux variation, N/S asymmetry, and harmonic content (3rd, 5th, 7th). CSV export available on request.

§ 07 · Export & Logistics
Compliance, built into the quote.
China's rare-earth export controls are real and they change. Since April 2025, Dy/Tb-containing magnets can require dual-use export licenses taking 2–6 months. Shipments via exporters with "magnet" in their company name face additional customs scrutiny.
We plan for this from the first quote. Where the application allows, we recommend HREE-free grades to bypass licensing entirely. For Dy/Tb-bearing material, we prepare end-use documentation, route through compliant logistics partners, and quote realistic lead times.
For US-based customers, our affiliate MagnetPeak Solutions LLC (Miami, FL) handles overseas orders in USD—simplifying payment, customs, and communication.
