Fe-based nanocrystalline strip combines the characteristics of silicon steel, Permalloy, and ferrite, while its cost is lower than that of Permalloy, giving it broad market application prospects.
Meaning of Fe-Based Nanocrystalline Strip
Fe-based nanocrystalline strip is a new type of soft magnetic material with excellent comprehensive performance. It is composed of elements such as iron, silicon, boron, copper, and niobium in specific proportions (e.g., the classic Finemet system: Fe-Si-B-Cu-Nb).

It is manufactured through a process of “rapid quenching + crystallization annealing,” and exhibits high saturation magnetic flux density, high permeability, low coercivity, low core loss, and good temperature stability. It is an ideal medium-to-high-frequency soft magnetic material to replace traditional silicon steel, Permalloy, and ferrite.
Advantages of Fe-Based Nanocrystalline Strip
| High magnetic saturation: It has strong resistance to magnetic saturation and can withstand large currents and strong interference. In high-power, high-current scenarios (such as high-power switching power supplies and inverter power supplies), it maintains stable inductance without the decline caused by magnetic saturation.

| High initial permeability: It can generate high impedance even under low magnetic fields, providing excellent suppression of weak interference. High permeability significantly reduces the number of coil turns, lowers parasitic parameters such as stray capacitance, increases the resonant peak frequency of filters, and facilitates the miniaturization and lightweighting of inductive components.
| Low core loss: It offers high energy conversion efficiency, helping to improve power supply efficiency and reduce temperature rise, thereby avoiding performance drift due to overheating and extending device service life, in line with energy-saving and consumption-reduction requirements.

| Low coercivity: It is easy to magnetize and requires low excitation power, effectively reducing the excitation current and copper loss of magnetic cores, thus improving the overall efficiency of electromagnetic devices.

Applications of Fe-Based Nanocrystalline Strip
| High-frequency switching power supply transformers: Fe-based nanocrystalline strip maintains low core loss at high frequencies and has high saturation magnetic flux density, significantly reducing transformer size and improving conversion efficiency. It is suitable for high-power switching power supplies.

| Inductors: Used in EMC (common-mode and differential-mode) filter inductors, high-frequency filter inductors, energy storage inductors, and reactor cores, it effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMI) and are suitable for high-frequency switching power supplies and complex electromagnetic environments.

| General electronic devices: Used in ISDN micro isolation transformers, surge suppressors, pulse compressor cores, and magnetic beads, it meets the high-frequency, low-loss requirements of various general electronic devices.
