Ferrite Arc Magnet

Ferrite arc magnet can also be called ferrite motor magnet because almost all ferrite arc magnets are used in electric motors. Ferrite magnets are manufactured by calcining process and therefore also knowns as ceramic magnet, which are mainly composed of Iron(III) oxide (Fe2O3). According to composition, ferrite magnets can be divided into barium ferrite and strontium ferrite. In comparison to neodymium arc magnets, ferrite arc magnets cost significantly less and are not likely to corrode. They have many applications in high technology fields.

Ferrite arc magnet is diametrically magnetized and assembled either on the rotor or stator. Ceramic arc magnets can be manufactured in a variety of shapes and sizes. However, the production of ferrite arc magnets is different from that of neodymium arc magnets. A new mold is necessary to produce a specific arc segment ferrite magnet. This is same for ferrite block magnet, ferrite ring magnet.
