In comparison to neodymium arc magnets, ferrite arc magnets cost significantly less and are not likely to corrode. They have many applications in high technology fields.

However, the production of ferrite arc magnets is different from that of neodymium arc magnets. A new mold is necessary to produce a specific arc segment ferrite magnet. This is same for ferrite block magnet, ferrite ring magnet.
