Magnetic grids (or Grate magnets) filter fine magnetic and weakly magnetic ferromagnetic contaminations from free-flowing powders and granulates.
They are used in the food, pharmaceutical, plastics, ceramics and other industries. You can, for example, place them in the hopper of your injection moulding machine.
A magnetic grid consists of several powerful magnetic rods. These are made of powerful neodymium magnets. The bars are located in the middle of your product flow and are able to capture the smallest ferrous particles (min. 30 µm). Even stainless steel scrapings can be captured. These particles are so small that they cannot even be detected by a metal detector.
