Manual Clean Drawer Magnets offer robust equipment and product protection against medium and fine ferrous contaminants in dry, free-flowing products under gravity flow conditions. These Drawer Magnets feature multiple staggered rows, maximizing the contact area for the product flow. As the product passes through the stainless steel housing, it cascades over the staggered rows of magnetic tubes. This action pulls ferrous contaminants to the surface of the magnets, where they are directed to the underside of the tube, preventing any wash-off.
Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining peak performance. To clean the magnetic tubes, simply release the latch assembly and open the door. Remove the grate assemblies one at a time and manually extract any tramp metal. It’s crucial to exercise extreme caution and wear protective gloves during this process, as rare earth magnets are exceptionally powerful, and tramp metal can be challenging to remove by hand.
