Why Online Meeting?
Finding a supplier that matches your needs is not an easy process. You might send out as many inquiries as possible to increase your chances of getting a reply, hoping to find one that feels right.
Relying solely on email for communication, especially in early-stage projects, can be inefficient because we as suppliers receive very limited information and can only provide basic feedback such as pricing and lead time. Online meetings also offer you (engineers, product designers, or purchasing managers) an opportunity to share information that is difficult to convey in text.
Most importantly, a brief meeting (likely 30 minutes long) will allow you to learn more about the supplier and quickly decide if we are a good match or if you would like to continue discussing the project or inquiry.
What Online Meeting Tools Do We Use?
For clients outside of China, we prefer to use the following platforms, according to preference: Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. For clients based in China, we can schedule a meeting using Tencent Meeting.
